Groups/Activities

Joining a group is a great way to meet new people and get involved in an activity you enjoy. Groups we offer include United Methodist Men (UMM),United Methodist Women (UMW),Adult Study Classes, Small Group Dinners, Chancel Choir, Sangres Dulcimer Club, The-Pretty-Good-String-Band Jam Session

United Methodist Women (UMW)

The United Methodist Women's group is open to all women and we extend a sincere invitation to each of you to join us at our monthly meetings and events. We welcome all participation. Even if you can't make every monthly meeting we'd love to see you whenever you can attend. Our meetings are generally luncheon meetings the second Wednesday of every month. We meet at the church Fellowship Hall or a member's home.

Small Group Dinners

This small group ministry helps us to meet others in the church by enjoying meals together in each other’s homes. The Fall Session runs from September – December and the Spring Session is from January – May. Dinners are usually once a month. Everyone in the group of eight or nine shares in providing part of the meal.

The group is not a study, just a time to share a meal together and enjoy fellowship. You are assigned to a new group with each Fall or Spring session so you have time to get to know one another over four or five meals together. Singles or those attending church by themselves are encouraged to attend. If you will be traveling and available only part of a session, you can sign up as a substitute. Signups are in August for the Fall Session and December for the Spring Session.

United Methodist Men (UMM)

2005 Men's Retreat

Our United Methodist Men's group meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month in our Fellowship Hall. This years President is Gary Joseph. You may contact him at 783-0354 if you have any questions about the UMM The United Methodist Men are involved in many projects throughout the year. They host a Christmas Breakfast and a Valentine's Day Breakfast for the whole congregation that is always well attended and lots of fun. They also have various other projects going at any given time. Every year the men host a Men's Retreat at Horn Creek Lodge.and you don't have to be a member of the United Methodist Men to attend. We invite all men to join us for the weekend.
